Talia Agui Gage Collier has a problem, two of his teammate have fallen as the Triple Curse has begun.

Talia Aguilar is the "bait" and she doesn't know it. Her mom conspires with Gage's mom and well all bets are on the moms to win! Talia just wants to have some fun without commitments because she is committed to finishing her MBA to better herself and no man, not even sexy Gage Collier will get in her way.

Can he prove to her that love is worth the wrath of the curse? Ryan has written a fun set of triple play stories. I enjoyed this and only wish there were more. She left it to the reader to decide if the curse struck again and the Strikers made the playoffs.

I will definitely look for more books like this from Ms. Aug 06, Kaye rated it it was amazing. Batter up! I fell in love with this little jewel. This little baby will rock you right along with the characters as their personalities transform and blend into the roles they were created for. Lori nailed this bad boy with all the twists and turns bringing us together for a show stopping love that goes distance.

The characters are authentic, genuine and so realistic with depth and qualities that make it easy to relate. The scenes are so colorfully descriptive and detailed you have no problem interpreting each scenario as they play off one another catapulting this baby to life spectacularly. Lori's unique talent and imagination weaves a tangled web, spinning a cocoon so tightly until everything else ceases to exist.

Fantastic job Lori, thanks for sharing this little gem with us. Aug 04, Yvonne Cruz rated it really liked it. We are back with the Strikers, and the Triple Play Curse. But his Mom, the matchmaker, and her friend Lucia, have other plans when they make it their mission We are back with the Strikers, and the Triple Play Curse. But when fate intervenes, their lives are turned upside down.

Talia Aguilar is helping her mother clean and cook for Gage while she completes college and starts her intern towards her MBA. She is firmly set on a career, not wanting to give up her educational goals as her mother did when raising her. She is attracted to Gage, but is not ready to settle down.

Aug 08, Connie rated it really liked it. I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it. This was a very quick read. One that can be done over a lunch break. This is the third story of the Triple Play Curse.

Once a teammate falls in love and becomes engaged or married, it means two more fellow players will fall. Well Barb Collier, Gage's mom, is determined that her son will be the final one this season. She wants grandbabies!! Barb Collier is a cunning woman and boy does she work the curse to her benefit. Talia and Gage have a delightful journey with a twist. I loved the multiple POV format of this book. The only downside for me was that it was so short.

I hope that there is more to the series say the following year and Jason Denali gets a story. This story should be read by someone over the age of 18 as there are some scenes that may not be appropriate for all. Aug 04, Lori rated it it was amazing. I love when a story goes against the norm. Gage and Talia were such a great couple.

It was a refreshing change to see the man be the one who admits to falling first and the woman running scared. Gage was so apprehensive about falling in love, but he should have heeded his friend's advice. Because he fell hard. It was beautiful and more than a little funny. Talia was very goal oriented and determined to start her career, leaving many hesitations about starting a relationship with Gage.

But once a I love when a story goes against the norm. But once again, Elise to the rescue with sage advice to get Gage and Talia together. I loved their happy ending and their sweet epilogue. I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the author. Aug 07, Christine Karmelreads W. With determined mothers like Barb and Lucia wanting their children married Gage and Talia don't stand a chance.

The third book in the series was definitely a keeper of a read. The characters were a joy to read about and how they interacted with their mothers. Talia is a good representation of being focused, driven and just a little blind to the whole picture of life.

Gage is the love'm and leave them until "those hips" captivate him then he will have to rethink his strategy. Both these characters ar With determined mothers like Barb and Lucia wanting their children married Gage and Talia don't stand a chance. Both these characters are focused on their careers and they will have to evaluate if there is room for change. Love their story. Aug 11, Bev Sten rated it it was amazing.

Game Clincher is the final book in the Tripple play Curse Novella series. Gage and Talia's story does not disappoint. Gage's mother, like a mother to the whole team, really wants grandbabies. So she and her friend plan a scheme to have their kids meet seemingly by accident.

Talia has to clean and cook for Gage because her mother hurt her back, cough cough. Gage is smitten. So the game of pretending he's not the least bit interested starts. An amusing finish to a fun series. I really enjoyed this trilogy. Read all three while relaxing on the weekend or at the pool or beach. A fun way to the end of baseball season. I highly recommend the whole series it will not disappoint. Sep 03, Jennie Fortna rated it really liked it.
