Covert ii assassin game camera

I am new to cameras and haven't been hunting long and new on this forum. I went to your website and you sell the HCO brand and not the Covert. How would you know anything about their cameras? Looks like they have you beat on price and besides you are all over this forum. I wouldn't think as a retailer you would be able to post since you would naturally have negative bias towards brands you don't carry.

Looks like to me this site should be named beebusyoutdoor's instead of chasingame. Looks like being a sponsor will get you alot here. If you look at the BeeBusy web site, you will see lots of camera brands for sale.

I've posted many criticisms of the SG as well as other brands. Every response I've seen from Joe had been very even handed and level headed. It is clear that he prefers the SG to the other brands he sells. I've advocated Reconyx and BuckeyeCam for quality reasons as I think they are less expensive in the long run.

These are brands he doesn't sell. I have yet to see him criticize those posts. I think Joe has the same bias to a camera he likes and thinks has value as most other members do. Got my adj bracket camo'd for it. I have found I want the target to be in the 8' to 12' range for best illumination during the IR mode. I have been wanting another one. When I saw this Assassin I like the case better and I like the wider detection zone.

I did read where that may be an issue as it picks up quicker and some of the subjects may not be centered. Are there any other "issues" with that model?

I also read where since the cams are the same you must consider whether you want to deal with DLC or SCO customer service. Some have made comments about that!!!! I noticed you have them availiable. What is the mounting method other than the threaded hole?

I also noted that the trigger speed must have been quick as advertised, because so many of the shots I downloaded included the entire body of the deer, or of the head as the deer first entered the field of view of the Covert II.

Many slower cameras get pictures of the back end of the animal as it exits the field of view, but not the Covert II. As for the waterproof seal, it worked perfectly as there was no moisture inside the unit despite days of hard rains during the two weeks it was in the woods. Covert still shots are crystal clear, even with the sunshining brightly toward the camera. Two thumbs up! The Covert II Assassin backs up the features it boasts. Your email address will not be published.

I am looking for cameras that will work in extreme cold conditions. My Stealth and my Moultrie I both work at F. Good batteries are necessary. They are much higher quality products and testing under much more severe conditions.

By Roscoe - Sun Dec 14, pm. Dakota, new york and just about every other cold place you can name, wait I don't think I have any in Alaska. No complaints yet! I got an email lasy week from a customer claiming very litttle effect on battery life even in sub zero temps. These cameras work well in cold temps. By Feed Man - Wed Dec 17, pm. I have used my Covert down to minus 27 so far and not a single glitch or bad pic yet.

Three nights below zero. Thanks, Jack I also tested the Reconyx during the same period.
