When I am in network settings, it shows a good connection between the computer and the Airport, but it shows the Airport is not connected to the modem.
I know the Airport is working fine because I am sitting here replying to this on one of the two Macs on this network. The internet was working for two days, and then it just stopped.

I connected directly to the modem, restarted the computer and modem, obviously no internet. I could ping any web site and it appears I can download updates. I can also chat using Windows Messanger.

Does it ever say "DNS request timed out"? You could also try disabling IPv6 in Vista. I'd hate to see you give up on Vista so early. The error I get when I open a web page is Internet Explorer cannot display the web page. I am not sure the steps to check and remove firewalls. That might be my issue.
I verified that 'work offline' isn't set. Any other ideas.
